Robert Larry Askren, 76, of Cincinnati, beloved husband of Joanne (nee Wilder) of 54 years; loving father of Tami Jo (Monica), Sean (Amy) , and Bobi Jo Askren; dear grandfather of Nicholas Askren, Brandi Whitinger, and Lauren Whitinger, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on July 13, 2016 from pancreatic cancer. Larry is also survived by his brother, Charles (Virginia) Askren, sisters, Leona (John) Inskeep, Frances Fannin, Mary Nell Horn, Wilma (Tom) Breeze, Beverly (Gordon) Butler, Bonnie (Gary) Harover, and Cheri Ayers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Celesta, his sister, Naomi Askren, and his brother, David Askren. Visitation will be 2pm-6pm Sunday, July 17, and 10am-11am Monday, July 18, with funeral service immediately following at the Eastside Christian Church in Milford, Ohio.
