Obituary for Harold L. Neumeister

Neumeister, Harold age 70 died Feb. 6, 2017 after a short illness. Born Jan. 6, 1947 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Survived by sons, Edward (Cheryl) and Harold Neumeister Jr. and cousin Marianne Adams, grandchildren Edward Jr., Kayla, Gavin Neumeister, A Viet Nam Veteran, Harold worked as an assistant warehouse manager for 10 years at Crayons to Computers in Bond Hill. During that time he doubled as Santa Claus at events at the FreeStore/FoodBank and several innercity schools. The irony was that he had had a chilling childhood and never experienced the wonders of Christmas. He was Santa most recently at The Residence of Salem Woods in Anderson Township where he lived since 2009. He was a member of Salem Woods Baptist Church where a memorial service will be held on Friday, Feb. 10 at 2 P.M. Friends may visit at the Church on Friday 1 P.M. to 2 P.M.
