Crutcher, dear brother of Judith Dalton Crutcher, loving grandfather of Mikella, Kennedy, Reagan, and Autumn, also survived by several nieces and nephews. June 29, 2017. Age 73 years. Jack was a degreed (BSME) engineer/designer who served as project engineer on several successful projects While working at Senco he designed, built and demonstrated the world's first battery operated framing nailer and invented and developed the world's first "O-ring-less" pneumatic tool firing valve. He analyzed and solved many production problems and is the holder of 56 patents worldwide.
While working at Morris Tech, some of his projects included key areas with GE projects, but his biggest accomplishment was the challenging working to solve the security vulnerablilities of the Sentrilock key Lockbox, which is very much in use today. Everything he did was a testament to his dedicated engineering work.

He was a lifetime member of the Porsche Club of America and loved spending time with his friends in the club and enjoyed his luncheons with his buddies from work. He also enjoyed his time at Metalkraft, just to see what Mark and his sons needed help with. And he spent time working with the Wright race team on many different levels.

He was a mentor to many and spent countless hours on his hobbies, plus enjoyed boating, cars, his red Porsche's and anything to do with boats and cars, including upholstering and restoration or redesigning. He was so very knowledgeable and shared a common bond on many topics with so many friends.

He was the heart of our family, a dedicated husband of 44 years (would have been 45 years on July 22nd) and a loving father and grandfather, brother-in-law and uncle. He struggled for so long with COPD/emphysema and eventually his lungs just quit working, a very heartbreaking illness. He will be greatly missed by everyone he knew and always remembered by the people that knew him.
