Obituary for Jerry Earl Grove

Grove, Jerry Earl of Anderson Township was born in Washington, Indiana in 1936 to Earl and Clara Grove. Jerry graduated from Indiana University and found his first job in Cincinnati. He worked for Federated Stores for the majority of his career followed by serving as Executive Director of Anderson Chamber of Commerce. Jerry continued his work as a member of the board of Mt. Washington Savings Bank/Watch Hill Bank. He had wry sense of humor and a zest of life that will always be remembered. He was a compassionate and loving husband, father and grandfather. Jerry is survived by his wife and partner of 40 years, Dottie (nee Neudigate) Scott-Grove, his children Linda (Randy), Kristy (Guy), Heather (Chad), Jamie and his grandchildren Kate, Kristi, Jackie, Megan, Samantha, Tristan, Clare, Allie,Connor, Hayden, Kayla, Kellsye and Jensyn as well as his canine companions Suka, Sky and Harper. He is preceded in death by his son, Mark and grandson Josh, He died Aug. 11, 2017, age 80 years. Memorial Service at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washinton on Sat. Aug. 19, at 4 P.M. Friends may visit on Sat. from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. Jerry’s passion was Golden Retrievers and please make memorials to GRRAND Goldens.
