Linda M. Hockett
Hockett, Linda M. (nee Molk) beloved wife of Gary A. Hockett, cherished mother of Megan (Rich) Kanis and Courtney (Danny) Smith, loving grandmother of Trey, Reid and Paul Kanis, dear sister of Nita (Bob) Parmley and devoted aunt of many nieces and nephews, passed away on Sept. 6, 2017, at the age of 69 years. She was preceded in death by parents, Delbert and Naomi Molk and sister, Merna Mellum. Linda was a skilled and dedicated nurse for over 40 years who treated all patients and co-workers with the utmost kindness and respect, serving as a clinician, administrator, and educator. Linda was a long-time active member of Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, serving most recently as a deacon. Linda was greatly loved and will be missed by her family and friends. Service at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, 6474 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Tues. Sept. 12, at 1 PM. Friends may visit at the Church on Tues. from 11:30 AM-1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Tri-State Southern Ohio Chapter. T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home serving the family.
