Casey, Mary "Suzette" (nee Cassidy), beloved wife of John "Jack" Casey, cherished mother of John Casey, Eileen (Donnie) Rouse, and Megan (Scott) Douglas, loving Grandmother of Jonah, Elias, Aiden, Isabelle, and Casey, dear sister of Patricia Olney, and devoted Aunt of many nieces and nephews, passed away on September 15, 2017 at the age of 78 years. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Edna Mae Cassidy and brother, Joe. Suzette was born and raised in Elmira, NY, went to undergraduate school at MercyHurst College, and on to pursue a Master's Degree in Education at Boston College. She met Jack, her husband for over 51 years, while living in Boston. John and Eileen were born in Boston, Megan was born in Reading, PA. In 1976, Jack and Suzette moved to Cincinnati. She was a devoted fourth grade teacher at Nativity School in Pleasant Ridge until retirement. After retirement, she volunteered her services as an excellent seamstress at St. Francis Xavier Church for several years. She will be missed by the community of family and friends to whom she had given so much. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis Xavier Church, 607 Sycamore St. Downtown on Tues. Sept. 19, at 10 AM. Friends may visit at T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Mon. from 5-7 PM and at the Church on Tues. from 9-10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church, Cincinnati, OH.
