Obituary for D. Michael "Mike" Murphy

Murphy, D. Michael beloved husband of Susan Murphy (nee Garthaus) devoted father of Michelle (Michael) Burcin and Michael P. (Carly) Murphy, dear brother of Kathy (Tim) Holly and Debbie (Mark) Porta, loving grandfather of Brayden, Josie, and Finley, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Died Suddenly Sept. 26, 2017. Age 68 years. Residence Anderson Twp. Service at T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Sat. Sept. 30, at 4 PM. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sat. from 1-4 PM. Mike had a long career in law enforcement with the Fairfax Police Dept. and retired from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Interrogation of Ohio. Mike also served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
