Obituary for Laverne R. Wehrman

Laverne R. Wehrman
Wehrman,
Laverne (nee Rust), age 90, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017. Wife of the late Paul Wehrman, daughter of the late John and Lilly Rust; sister of Lillian and Helen, the late Richard MD, Lawrence, Milton and Edna. Incredible mother of John (Sally) Wehrman, Joe (Connie) Wehrman, Janice (Dan) Demmerle, Judy (Matt) Cunningham, Juli (Mark) Wilmers, and the late James Wehrman; grandmother of Grady (Cyndi) Marker, Ben (Angela) Marker, Katie Marker, Elizabeth Wilmers, Kelsey (Brad) Kaiser, Ryan Wehrman, Emily Wehrman, Alli (Greg) Cottrill, Graham (Ashley) Schwartz, Cam (Jessica) Demmerle and the late Marty Carr and Maddie Schwartz. Great grandmother of 12 children who adored her.
Mom loved her children and grandchildren and took great pride in their accomplishments. One might think we were all rock stars if you were to listen to her tales about us. She was a humble servant of God who was not interested in material goods but had a wealth of love for and from her family and friends.
Laverne modeled love, faith, and kindness to all and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of her life will be held Monday, October 9, 2017 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 7820 Beechmont Avenue, at 10:00 a.m. Family will greet family and friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Animal Rescue Fund, Lucy Run Rd. Laverne was a lover of animals and helped to place 458 rescue puppies into new adopted homes.
We encourage everyone to wear bright colors to her memorial for she so loved wearing them.
