Sowder, Barbara J. (nee Galloway) beloved wife of Lonnie Sowder, devoted mother of Jason (Kelli) and Brian (Meredith) Sowder, cherished daughter of Lois Galloway and the late James A. Galloway, loving grandmother of Logan, Turner, and Austin, caring sister of Diane (Rick) Scanlon, Thomas (Susan) Galloway, and Janet (Mark) Weber, dear daughter-in-law of Cora Sowder and the late Glen Sowder. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Died October 29, 2017. Age 66. Residence Union, Kentucky. Funeral service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Friday, November 3rd at 1 pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 11 am to 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
