Smith, Betty R. (nee Boyd) beloved wife of 56 years to the late Richard W. Smith, devoted mother of Cathy (Dale) Austin, Rick (Wendy) Smith, and Linda (Bill) Mason. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Curtiss, Tara, and Tori Mason & Jamie and Matt Simms, her great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosa M. Boyd (nee Barnes) and Harry E. Hargy-Boyd, her brother, Roger Boyd, and her half siblings, John Hargy, Emily Winter, Martha Helfrey, and Harry Hargy Jr. Betty was a proud graduate of Woodward High school and was an accomplished piano player, constant photographer, exceptional cook, and keeper of family history. Died November 5th, 2017. Age 86. Residence Anderson Twp. Funeral service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Saturday, Nov. 11th at 11 am.
