Charles E.  Wheatley
Wheatley, Charles E., husband of his beloved Mary Jo Wheatley who preceded him in death in 2016. Passed away peacefully November 29, 2017 at age 84. Happy and always supportive father of Susan E. (Tony Becker), Charles E. "Buzzy" (Maryday) and Sharon S. (Martha) and grandfather of Max, Madeline, Charlotte, Gwendolyn, Elizabeth and Beatrix. Blessed to have wonderful sisters Rae Myers who preceded him in death, Jean Wiester, Judy Schmalfuss, and Barbara Schlueter; cousins Bob Lowery and Sally Branham; sister-in- law Nancy Bauer and brothers-in- law Mickey Myers and Bill Franz. Uncle Charlie loved his many nieces and nephews. He never met a stranger and cherished his many friends. Safety engineer as a young man in the U.S Navy, owner of Poolmaster of Cincinnati, a born salesman, holder of U.S. patents and trademarks, lover of science, the natural world, singing, art and cooking (with plenty of butter and mayo). He lived a life of enthusiasm, optimism and encouragement for all. The family thanks the very special Rebecca Lee and his dedicated caregivers at Visiting Angels, Hyde Park Health Center and Vitas.
