Saimi L. Read (nee Keto), Physicist, age 104 passed away January 8, 2018. Former resident of Mariemont, OH, Queens, NY and Maynard, Mass. She earned her Master's degree from Boston University and worked at MIT during WWII in the Rad Lab. Saimi married the late Donald W. Read in Seattle, Washington in 1943. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Elaine Cook, Son-in-law Robert L. Cook Jr., Grandchildren Robin Brannan and Jeff Cook and Great Grandchildren Colin and Claire Brannan. There will be a private family interment in her hometown of Maynard, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati.
