Adel Salem Muasher, 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
One of ten children, Adel was born in Salt, Jordon on November 12, 1932. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend. He had an infectious smile, a kind heart, and a gift for storytelling that made everyone feel welcome in his presence.
Adel was preceded in death by his parents, to Salem and Wasileh Muasher and siblings Kamal Muashsher, Majid Muasher, Lulu Madanat, Suhaila David, Mary Bakhit and Sahab Al-Shaer. He is survived by his former wife, Insaf Muasher; his children, Lulu, Ramzi and Ranny; and his cherished grandchildren, Colette, Isabella and Sophia.
Adel and his brother, Kamal, owned and operated Gold Star Chili in Amelia, Ohio for 53 years. Through hard work, dedication, and a passion for hospitality, they created a gathering place that became a beloved part of the community. After retiring, Adel embraced life fully-enjoying music, laughter, and most of all, the company of his family.Though Adel is no longer with us, his love, warmth, and stories will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church, 6577 Branch Hill Miamiville Rd, Loveland, OH 45140. Friends and family may visit the church for a viewing from 10-11AM. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Followed by Mercy Meal at St. James Orthodox Church Hall.
