Ann M. Arbogast of Cincinnati passed away at the age of 68 on September 11, 2022, at The Glen of Cincinnati. Ann was born in Piqua, Ohio on February 3, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Arbogast (nee Ranson). She was also preceded in death by her sister Patricia, brother Stephen and nephew Zachary.
Ann is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ralph Lane; her brother Dave, sister Lynn Monaghan; nephews Michael (Sophia) Arbogast, Jack Monaghan, niece Eve Monaghan and great nephews Damian, Caleb, and David Arbogast.
Upon graduation from Lehman High School in 1972, Ann moved to Cincinnati and attended the University of Cincinnati. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Education and later completed her Masters's Degree in Guidance Counseling.
Ann retired from Mariemont School District where she had an impactful career as an English Teacher and then Guidance Counselor. Those who came into contact with Ann during her career were left with an everlasting feeling of trust, guidance, and a friend for life.
Upon retirement, Ann relentlessly volunteered for organizations and people in need. She had a lifelong commitment to those less fortunate..
Friends and family will carry memories of Anns sarcasm and humor that enabled family and friends in their most difficult times. Her strength and leadership were modeled and respected by many. She had a passion for the Arts that was contagious!
A memorial service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45230 (Mt. Washington), on Friday, September 16th at 4 pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 pm. If desired, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati.
