Annabelle (Ann) Henkes

Annabelle (Ann) Agnes Henkes (nee Beebe) aged 96 of Anderson Twp., passed away, August 31, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Norbert J. Henkes, devoted mother of Douglas J. Henkes, David J. (Beth) Henkes, and Kristina M. (John) Luebbers, loving grandmother of Benjamin & Matthew Luebbers and Sarah & Emily Henkes, former mother-in-law of Lisa Henkes, dear sister of the late Marge Ryan, and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Faith and family were very important to Ann and she led a life of quiet success in raising her children, whether from school projects, assignments, and team sports, Cub Scout den mother, provider of guidance and patience in preparing her children for life as adults, and bringing that boundless love and excitement to her four grandchildren.

She also lead a life of service as a decades long volunteer at Immaculate Heart of Mary church and her multiple years with the Forest Hills School District.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7820 Beechmont Ave, on Saturday, September 28th at 10:30 am. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
