Banca C. "Ben" Chamberlain, age 73 of Anderson Twp., passed away December 22, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Debbie M. Chamberlain (nee Meyer), devoted father of Jill (Brian) Moran, loving grandfather of Zachary Taylor Chamberlain Moran. Dear brother of Edward (Patricia) & Joe (Debbie Bills) Chamberlain and uncle to Brian & Clinton (Sherrie) Chamberlain. Ben was preceded in death by his parents Casabanca C.Chamberlain & Oshia Lee Chamberlain. Ben graduated from Withrow High School and went onto the University of Cincinnati to earn a degree in Business. He worked in finance and auto leasing after graduation. He led a robust career helping many individuals and companies in obtaining their vehicle dreams. He was a Vice President with Joseph Leasing, LLC at the First America AutoCenter at the time of his retirement in December.
Ben and Debbie both grew up in Mt. Washington less than a mile apart but did not meet until Ben's fraternity, Theta Chi was building the homecoming float with Debbie's sorority Alpha Chi Omega in the fall of 1969. During his college years, Ben also joined the Army Reserves. Ben and Debbie were married on July 13th 1974 at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church. Ben was an avid golf player and sports fan. Growing up he worked his summers being a caddy at Coldtream Country club and he would later play in many city-wide golf tournaments and have a number of hole in ones. His most recent hole in one was while on a vacation on Hilton Head Island. If Ben was not on the golf course with friends or Debbie you would see him at many University of Cincinnati sporting events. He started making Bearcat football and basketball games a family outing when Jill was just 4. Many family vacations over the years revolved around where the Bearcats were playing.
Ben loved being a grandfather to Zach, having stories read in "Grandpa's Chair" to the long walks in Juilfs Park they enjoyed every minute they were together. Pictures of Zach's day would always put a smile on his face.

Memorial Service at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, 6474 Beechmont Ave., (Mt. Washington) Cincinnati, OH 45230. Friends may visit at the Church on Wed., from 11:30 AM to 1 PM.
