Barbara Dills

Barbara Dills passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on February 8, 2024 at 88 years of age. Barbara Taylor was born in Butler, Kentucky on April 11, 1935. Barbara and her parents, Ralph and Geneva Taylor, moved to Cincinnati in the late 1930s. Barbara married her Withrow High School love, Milton Bernie Dills, on June 17, 1954. They shared 67 wonderful years together. Barbaras first job was at AT&T. Since Christianity was the foundation of Barbara's life, she was passionate about her next job as Mt. Washington Church of Christ (now Parkside Christian Church) secretary, which she held for over 25 years. In 2010, Barbara and Bernie moved to Bradenton, Florida to be near family.

Barbara was the devoted wife of the late Milton "Bernie" Dills. She was a loving mother to Julie (Dills) Fried and Jeffrey Dills, and a wonderful grandmother to her 5 grandchildren, Brittany Fried, Zachary Fried, Deborah Morningstar, Ben Dills, and Scott Dills, and 6 great-grandchildren. Her loving heart and quiet strength will be missed by all.

Barbara and Bernie's remains will be buried at Arlington Memorial Gardens on April 5, 2024 at 2:30pm. Barbara's Celebration of Life will be on April 6 at Parkside Christian Church (6986 Salem Road, Cincinnati, Ohio). Visitation at 10:00am and Service at 11:00am.
