Barbara Hoel

Barbara L. Hoel (née Callender), passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the age of 73. Barb was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Earl and Helen Callender, on April 27, 1949. She was the beloved wife of 52 years to Mark Hoel, a devoted mother to Eric (Yvonne) Hoel and Jason (Stephanie) Hoel, a loving grandmother to Trevor (Yvonne) Jessee, Paige (Jarrod) Jessee, Lilli and Olivia Hoel, and great-grandmother to Sierra Jessee, Milo and Wren Geary, and proud mom to her furrbaby, Shadow.

Barb dearly loved her family and friends, and was a doting mother and grandmother. She was passionate about gardening and animal welfare. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and old black and white movies. She will be surrounded in heaven by the many pets who have preceded her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, at T. P. WHITE & SONS Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Avenue, Mt. Washington. Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 PM.
