Bonita Oakes

Bonita A. Oakes (nee Jones) age 72 of Mt. Washington, died February 4, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Franklin James Oakes, Sr, devoted mother of Franklin James (Tamy) Oakes, Jr., Carolyn Bonita Oakes-Warner, and Gary D. Oakes, loving grandmother of Brandon (Taylor), Matthew, Desiree, and Zachary, caring great-grandmother Bentley, Aspen, Cooper, and Sylvia, and dear sister of Barb, Theresa, Annie, Michael, Mindy, and the late Nina, Billie, and Mary Kay. She was also preceded in death by he beloved parents William and Florence Jones. A private family celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
