Burton F. Millard Jr, beloved husband of the late Corinne E. Millard (nee Elliott), devoted father of Pamela M. Hoying, Douglas B. (Cynthia), Jeffrey E. (Ginger) Millard, and dear brother of Colleen Jewett (Paul). May 7, 2023. Age 90 years.
Burt was born on January 30th , 1933, to his father Burton F. Millard Sr. and his mother Lucille Matilda Millard in San Jose, California. Burt graduated from Cal Berkely where he met the love of his life Corinne, and they enjoyed 55 years of life together before she passed away in 2012. She was his one and only, and he stayed committed to her and missed her every day.
Burt loved being a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and his devotion to his family can be seen in the legacy of love he has left with his children and grandchildren.
Burt’s hobbies included competitive volleyball, golf, fishing, painting, watching Cal Berkely football, and attending the multitude of sporting activities his children were involved in, and there were many.
Burt’s sense of humor, quick wit, and warm smile will be remembered by all who knew him. He was one of a kind.
A celebration of life service will be held at St. Timothy's Episcopal church on Saturday August 5th at 3pm. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, American Heart Association or St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. T. P. White and Sons Funeral Home serving the family.
