Carol Wright

Carol Bernice Wright (nee Robertson), 88, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2024, at the Lodge Nursing and Rehab Center in Loveland, Ohio. Born in Abingdon, Illinois, she was preceded in death by her mother, Olive Ruth Robertson (Schrum), her father Howard Elsworth Robertson, her siblings Earl Oliver Robertson, Howard Elsworth Robertson, Jr., Clarence Lee Robertson, Ruth Irene Robertson (Shumacher), Delbert Dean Robertson, Arther William Robertson, and her husband, William "Bill" Wright, Jr. She is survived by her brother James Henry Robertson, her three sons, Michael Craig Wright (Patsy), Steven Christopher Wright (Laura), and John Anthony Wright (Pam). She is also survived by nine Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren. While in high school, she competed in many singing competitions as music brought her much joy and was something that she wanted to share with others. After graduating high school, she attended Cottey College, located in Nevada, Missouri, for two years. During her life, she worked for numerous companies and organizations. The most recent was with Kyocera Senco Industrial Tools, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she was a Credit Analyst. However, she would tell you that her most important role was taking care of the love of her life and Husband, Bill, and raising her three sons. Bernice was married to Bill for 65 years. She was a devout Christian and loved singing in the choir and performing solos during church services. She loved working with her hands including sewing, crocheting, and cooking. She also enjoyed reading and finishing word search puzzles. Bernice was full of love, sass and joy until the very end, bringing smiles and laughter to all she encountered. Her loved ones are atpeace knowing she is where she has always longed to be - in Heaven forever with her Savior and the love of her life.

A memorial service will be planned with logistics provided at a later date.
