Memorials to Guardian Angels Church.

A devout Catholic, she attended Mass multiple times a week and supported St. Rose, St. Stephen, Immaculate Heart of Mary and Guardian Angels. She had a strong love for Mary, praying the rosary daily. Her many rosaries could be found anywhere in her house, car, pockets, and purses.

Catherine married Henry when she was just 19 and proceeded to have 6 children in 9 years and welcomed another daughter 11 years later. She was an executive secretary in a book publishing company and loved her job. She and Henry worked hard to send all 7 children to Guardian Angels and Catholic high schools.

She was always up for an adventure and loved road trips. She and dad traveled all over the country for his army reunions, visited family in Florida, drove to Canada to see Niagara Falls and sailed on an Alaskan cruise.

She had many fun times with great friends, enjoying dinners out, going to Meier's Winery, and was an avid fan of the Reds and went to many games.

Catherine suffered later in life with Alzheimer's which robbed her of her short-term memory. She still maintained her spunk and love of family.

Special thanks to the administration and the many nurses, aides and caregivers at Arden Court. They are truly God's angels on Earth.

We hope she was greeted by my dad, my sister and all those who have gone before her, welcoming her to the pearly gates. If there are dogs in Heaven, Punkin was right there waiting. She leaves behind quite a Wolfer legacy. She always wanted a better life for us, and she worked hard to bring up good people. May there always be someone to speak her name and honor her memory.

May God bless you always and in all ways!
