Cynthia "Cindi" A. Dietrich ( nee Luecke), age 60 years, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 10th in her home. A graduate of Anderson High School (1976) and Xavier University (1981), Cindi pursued a lifelong career in accounting. A loving wife and devoted mother, beyond family her greatest commitment was to the United Methodist Church. Belonging to Cherry Grove United Methodist Church and working for the Ohio River Valley United Methodist District, Cindi was a true servant-leader to the church's management and mission. Full of the Spirit of Christ, she was tireless in her efforts and contributions to the church and its many causes. Preceded in death by her father, Edgar Luecke, Cindi is survived by her husband Gregory of 28 years, son Jonathan, mother Kitty Luecke (nee Causey), sister Claire Elliott, brothers Bruce and David Luecke, and many sisters and brothers in law as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cindi had a unique talent for taking the impossible and making it possible. Her passion for life's adventure and energy for doing all things will be missed dearly by family, friends and the many people she served through her work with the United Methodist Church. Visitation and Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, November 17th at Cherry Grove United Methodist Church (1428 Eight Mile Road, Cincinnati, OH). Visitation will be from 9 to 11 am, with service beginning at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorials be made in Cindi's name to UMCOR or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. Memorials should be sent to Cherry Grove at the above address.
