Deborah Dorsey

February 27, 1950 — March 5, 2024

Deborah "Debbie" Dorsey (nee Maundrell), of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 74, suddenly and too soon. Debbie was born to Edward and Marian Maundrell. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 50 years, Ken Dorsey, her daughter, Leslie McCabe (Scott), and her son, Phillip Dorsey (Renee Peace). She was Grammy for Evan and Carter McCabe. She is also survived by her brother, Patrick Maundrell (Molly), and sister Lori Eberle. She was preceded in death by her brothers Mike Maundrell (Gail) and Doug Maundrell (Helen). Debbie was a favorite aunt to nieces and nephews across the country.

Debbie graduated from Withrow High School and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from University of Cincinnati. The words "50 years of marriage" don't capture the depth and breadth of Deb and Ken's relationship. As owners, they partnered in the day to day operation of Suburban Glass, a successful Madeira business, for 48 years. She was extremely proud of the reputable family business that thrives today. Early on, Debbie was a committed LaLeche League leader, emphasizing her dedication to mothering and parenting.

Debbie will be remembered for her love of family. Debbie enjoyed tennis at Madeira Swim and Tennis Club, golf at O'Bannon Creek, as well as reading and gardening. She enjoyed frequent vacations, often on Fripp Island, South Carolina with many family members, especially Phillip and Renee. On weekends you could find her on the sidelines cheering for Evan and Carter in every sport they played no matter the weather. We will miss her witty sense of humor, her "potpourri" of the day, zest for life and her infectious laugh.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 at O'Bannon Creek Golf Club, Loveland, Ohio, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend and share cherished memories and stories.
