Derek W. Carmell, age 49, suddenly passed away on April 28th, 2024. He was born August 13th, 1974, in Cincinnati. He worked as a Union Laborer for 17 years. He loved traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family. He was the most selfless, kind, and hardworking man and father.
He is survived by children Carter Carmell, Lacey Carmell, Stepchildren Justin Bitzer, Brooke Bitzer, and mother of children Tammy Bitzer. He is preceded in death by his mother (Laura) and grandparents.
Friends, family, and others whose lives Derek touched are invited to T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45230 from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., on Tuesday May 7th, 2024, followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
