Donald W. Franklin

Donald (Don) W. Franklin Jr., was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 8th 1968, and sadly departed from this Earth on August 3rd 2022. He was the devoted son of Donald W. Franklin Sr. (June 12th 1929 - December 17th 2011) and Juanita L. Ballenger (April 9th 1931 - May 28th 2021), the wild younger brother to Deborah A. Neftzer, Donna M. Barney, and Jennifer L. Hamilton, and the unbelievably loving father to Casey G. Franklin and Harmony B. Franklin. Don had an extremely eventful life, full of adventure, making friends and memories wherever he went. He was known throughout the city for his impeccable salesmanship, helping many to improve their homes and treating every client like a longtime friend. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing like his father taught him, gardening in the community gardens he built, and exploring Mother Nature in all her beauty. When he wasnt outside, you could find him in his favorite chair, smoking his long tabaco pipe, cuddling with his cats Moses, Pounce, Juniper, and Sophia, and watching every show on the paranormal he could find. He was always searching for the answers to the unexplained, everything from Ghosts to Bigfoot with his daughters and beloved Dog, Teddy, along side of him. He constantly went out of his way to help those around him, always extending a hand to whoever was in need. Anyone who knew Don Franklin knew him as the very definition of a gentle giant. He will be truly missed by all whos lives he touched. This world will simply never be the same without him.
