Donna Elaine (nee Wehby) LaVilla, aged 82, peacefully departed in the early hours of Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1941, she was the beloved daughter of Dr. Charles Wehby and Ethel (nee Johnson) Wehby. Donna's upbringing was rooted in Cincinnati, where she attended Summit Country Day High School before graduating from Our Lady of Cincinnati College (Edgecliff College) with a degree in Philosophy in 1963.
Above all, Donna cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. Known for her unwavering support and affection, she dedicated most of her days to nurturing her family. Her passions included cooking, tending to her house, plants, and bowling in her younger years.
Donna is survived by her children Maria (Bruce) Holaday, Tommy (Shirley) LaVilla, Teresa (Joey) Whalen as well as her grandchildren Cameron, Brandon, Lauren, Tommy, Jake, Kayla, Lindsey, and Gavin. She is also survived by her brothers Charles Wehby and John Wehby. She was preceded in death by her father Dr. Charles Wehby, mother Ethel, her sister Carol Glenn and brothers Richard and James Wehby.
Mass of Christian Burial honoring Donna's life will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, located at 7820 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45255, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 10AM. Followed by burial at Mount Moriah cemetery and a reception at IHM.
