Dr. Sidney Hannah

Dr. Sidney Allison Hannah, born April 9, 1930 in Clifton Forge, VA, died Jan. 1, 2018, at the age of 87 years. Son of the late Frank M. and Ellen M. (nee Murray) Hannah. Sid graduated from Clifton Forge High School in 1947. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Virginia Military Institute in 1951, Master of Science Degree in 1960 and Doctor of Philosophy in 1962 from the University of Florida. Sid served in the US Army from 1953-1955. He worked as a research chemist for the US Public Health Service and retired from the US EPA in 1990.
