Dr. Stricklin

Stricklin, Ernest Dr., beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen Burnett Stricklin, devoted father of Martha Elizabeth Stricklin and the late Dr. Rebecca Ellen Stricklin. He graduated from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 1953 and served churches in Louisville, KY., New Albany, IN., Hazard, KY., Athens County, OH., and Meigs County, OH. Dr. Stricklin also served on the Presbyterian Board of Education in Richmond, VA. and came to Ohio University as a Professor of Family Life and Human Ecology. Died, January 5, 2015. Age 89 years. Resident of Llanfair Retirement Community and formerly of Athens, OH. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Llanfair Retirement Community, 1701 Llanfair Ave., Cincinnati, OH. 45224. on Thursday, January 8 at 3 pm. Friends may visit in the chapel on Thursday from 2 to 3 pm. Additional services will be held in Athens with burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery, York, SC. T.P.
