Edward C. Birck, Sr., went to join his beloved wife of 67 years the late Margaret Mary Birck (nee Sommer) on December 27th 2019, aged 87 years. Loving father of the late Debra A. Crosby (Gary), Edward C. Birck (Deborah), Nancy M. Von Bargen (David), Kenneth W. Birck (Karen), Cynthia J. Sutter (Timothy), Douglas C. Birck (Julie), the late Maryann Mofford (John Fay), and Christopher F. Birck (Jane). He is also survived by his sisters, Lois Biedenbender (Jerry) & Donna Pellman. Ed was a loving grandfather to 15 grandchildren, Andrea Lipp (Jamie), Brad Birck (Amanda), Adam Birck (Renee Marr), Nicholas Birck (Anna), Justin Von Bargen, Logan Von Bargen (Molly), Amanda Wait (Phil), Ken Birck (Erica), Jessica Santee (Frank), Matthew Sutter (Megan), Michael Sutter (Lindsey), Caitlyn Sutter, Anna Birck, Christopher Birck, and Julia Birck, and 19 great-grandchildren, Allison Lipp, Grady Lipp, Lucy Birck, Charlie Birck, Alexander Birck, Emmaline Birck, Miriam Birck, Samuel Birck, Violet Von Bargen, Truman Wait, Hudson Wait, Joseph Birck, Hadley Birck, Lucas Birck, Olivia Santee, Lucas Sutter, Genevieve Sutter, Theodore Sutter, and Henry Sutter.
A 50 year resident of Loveland Ohio he most recently resided at The Anderson in Anderson Township. He was an electrical engineer for the Cincinnati Milacron and a U.S. Air Force veteran who loved his family and traveling. After retiring from the Milacron he became a part-owner in Leisure Time Embroidery with his daughters Nancy and Debi.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 7820 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45255, on Tuesday January 14th, at 10:30 AM. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
