We bid farewell to my husband, Edward P. Stanny, who departed from this world on September 14, 2024 at the age of 87. A pillar of strength, his absence leaves a void in our hearts. He was born to Ted and Sophie Stanny in Rochester, NY on April 28, 1937. Ed moved to Cincinnati in 1973 and worked many years for American Laundry as a Mechanical Engineer. He also owned a deli on Harrison Ave for several years. After he sold the deli, he invested in real estate and owned rental properties. Ed and Deanna (Goold) met in Utah and married on March 5, 1973. They had Jennifer Ann on September 10, 1974. She passed away shortly after on December 4, 1974. He is survived by his wife, Deanna, his daughter Stacy, granddaughter Sara and his brother, Ted Stanny, Jr and wife Peggy. They currently reside in Chandler, AZ along with countless friends who enjoyed playing golf with him especially his pipe fitter golfing buddies.
To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on September 21 at 11:00. We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed.
