Edwina 'Bunny' Buchanan

Edwina "Bunny" Kay Buchanan, age 78, passed away Friday April 19th. She was preceded in death by her father James Slaughter, mother Billie Slaughter and brothers David Slaughter, Jim Burton, and Randy Burton. She is survived by other close family, her son Jeffrey Buchanan, siblings Michael (Jaime) Burton, Gina (Jeff) Arens, Steve (Nina) Burton, granddaughters Zoe Buchanan and Madison (Matt) McCormick and two great grand children, Valley and Kove. Bunny was a legendary Media Buyer (Advertising), and paved the way for tough women in a Men's only club type industry. She was tough, but fair, and she held her own. A buyer, a manager, an entrepreneur and a mentor, with 40+ years in the business. In her personal life, Bunny was a strong anchor for her family. Family was everything to her. Visitation will be held at T.P White Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., on Tuesday April 23rd from 3-4pm followed by a service starting at 4pm.
