Cook, Esther Louise passed away at the New England Club on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, with her husband at her side. Esther was born Oct. 5, 1924, in Berlin Center, Ohio. She leaves behind her husband of 72 years, Harold Cook, her children Kathy (Jim) Teller, Wayne (Rhonda) Cook, the late Sue Cook, Dave (Jan) Cook, Janet (Joe) Cooper, Jeff (Amy) Cook, 13 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Esther was a devout Methodist all her life, she sang in Church choirs volunteered in various Church groups and activities and enjoyed daily devotions with Harold. For many years she and Harold were delegates to the Methodist Church's annual conference meetings at Lakeside, Ohio. She volunteered at at Woodland Mound Park and Withrow Nature Preserve, and she helped deliver Meals on Wheels. Her devotion to her family was unending and she loved having family members come to their home for family events. She never forgot a birthday or an anniversary of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to play cards, and would stay up late playing games with the family. She and Harold loved to travel and for many years they enjoyed driving to Florida, took part in Elderhostel trips, camped in the U.S. and Canada, and enjoyed Caribbean and Alaska cruises.Visitation will be at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt.Washington from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday October 9. The Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Hills United Methodist Church, 7515 Forest Road, Cincinnati, OH. 45255 on Friday October 10 at 11 A.M. Flowers can be sent to T.P.
