Kelly, Francis X., “Frankie” loving husband of Mary "Skip" Kelly, beloved father of Michael, Pat, and Bob, dear and generous father-in-law of Beverly Bross-Kelly, Sue Kelly, and Anna Kelly, devoted and indulgent grandfather of Brian Francis (Jenn), Erin Katherine Frances, Sarah (Ben Trautmann), Christopher Rehbeck (Leah), Danny (Julee), Colleen, and Sean, great-grandfather of six darling children, Becks, Blair, Thomas Trautmann, Mary Sheila Frances, Sophia Love Trautmann, and Bryce, brother of Bill, Jack, and Marie, all of whom passed before him, uncle of many dear nieces and nephews and their children, many of whom are Frank’s godchildren.
Frank’s life was one of dignity and grace, always centered on the family. He lived through the Great Depression, fought in the infantry in WW II and in Korea and met every situation with calmness and patience. Even after his near total blindness late in life, he continued to cut his lawn and clean out his gutters and help anyone who needed help with anything. Frank never complained. He kept his shoes shined. Frank spent his last years at Arden Court, where he was much loved by the diligent and kind staff.
Frank was a salesman, and a salesman has got to dream. It comes with the territory. Dreaming at last of being in heaven with his patiently waiting wife, Frank left us peacefully and lives now always in the light where he can see perfectly, where the first thing he saw after so much darkness was the smiling face of his one, best love, Skip. Now they are together forever.
