Jr., loving husband of Patricia Kappel (nee Kalfas) for 65 years, devoted father of Steven (Susan), Ted (Kim), Katina Turner (Tom), and Andrew (Denise), cherished grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of 5. Following honorable service in the US Navy, where he earned the WW II Victory Medal, Frank returned to the Cincinnati Enquirer where he continued his career for 47 years as a reporter, editor, editorial systems coordinator, and production manager.
