Gail Sandmann

Gail D. Sandmann (nee Hegge) age 82 of Anderson Twp., died October 18, 2018. She was the beloved wife of James F. Sandmann for 61 years, devoted mother of Laura Sullivan, Lynn (John) Cochran, Lisa (John) Imbus, and Amy (Ted) Ackerman, loving grandmother of Shane and Brendan Sullivan, Allison (Robert) Cambruzzi, John (Sara) Cochran, Molly (Max) Hudson, Joseph (Hayley), Samuel, and Zachary Imbus, and Timothy and Julia Ackerman, caring great-grandmother of Tripp, Luke, Catalina, Jack, Charlie, Jane, and Simon, and dear sister of Linda (William) Koeppel, David (Elaine Lynch) Hegge, and the late William Hegge. She was a selfless, kind and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, GG, and friend - Gail will be fondly remembered for doing countless little things with great love. She never met a stranger and made life better for all those whose lives she touched. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Guardian Angels Church on Thursday, October 25th at 10:30 am.
