Green, Geneva "Jeanie" P. (nee Berling) left this world to be with Jesus after a long, stubborn battle with pancreatic cancer. She led a joyous life characterized by laughter, kindness and hospitality to everyone she met. She is survived by her loving husband, best friend and soulmate of 57 years, Charlie L. Green Sr., as well as her children and their spouses, Rodger Eagle (Susan), Patty Jones, Debbie Daniel (Steven), and Chip Green (Samantha). Her legacy of love lives on through her grandchildren, Melissa Jones, Mandy Gabbard (Ricky), Cody Eagle (Sarah), Susan Green (Kevin), Christy Barrett, Emily Daniel, Cicily Callihan (Daniel), Elizabeth Green, Cody Green (Kelly) and Alexis Eagle. Her spirit of fun and curiosity continues into the future through her great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Autumn, Tyler, Delaney, Charlie, Lettie, Clayton, Wyatt, Connor, Lydia, Leah, Chloe, Harper and Owen. Jeanie was the type of person that would pick you up when you fell, but only after she finished laughing. She was also the first to laugh at herself. She loved to be on the go whether that was a day at Findlay Market and visiting family around town or going on vacations like Gatlinburg or Cleveland, or getting lost in the dangerous part of Memphis. She always had a project going whether it was gardening, home improvement, or one of her many embroidery and crochet pieces. She loved to laugh and be silly and once you got her laughing (or got herself laughing) she couldn't stop. She always put others first and spent her entire life driving neighbor kids to school or church, cooking countless never-ending pots of chili to feed packed houses of expected and unexpected guests, caring for parents and relatives and giving people family, love and stability when they needed it most. She will be missed until we see her again. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Network because, as Grandma would point out, "What are you going to do with all those flowers anyway? It's just one more thing to take care of. It's a waste." Friends may visit at T.P.White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt.
