George-Ann Lawrence (nee Adams) will be missed by everyone who knew her. Her family and friends knew she would listen without judgment and approach life with her unending humor and kindness.
George-Ann was born and raised in Chicago. After graduating from Dennison and the Univeristy of Illinois she moved to Cincinnati to serve as a speech therapist. Over many decades of dedication to volunteerism, she gave so much love and energy to countless organizations, including Krohn Conservatory, PEO and AIDS Volunteers of Cincinnati. She changed peoples' lives for the better with her commitment and passion. Her handcrafted clay sculptures and custom artwork that reveal her unique creativity will be cherished.
George-Ann is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim Lawrence, her son, David, her daughter, Cathy Mastromauro (Bradley) and grandchildren, Michael and Jonah. Her brother and his family loved her and will miss her greatly: Jim Adams (Judy), Wes (Janine), Jen (Eric) and Will (Mike).
There will be a private family service for George-Ann.
