Gerald Rolfes

Gerald "Jerry" John Rolfes beloved husband of Mary Susanne "Sue" Rolfes (nee Herrmann) of 38 years, loving father of Gerald Rolfes, Kelly (David) Overberg, John (Tracey) Seibert, Carolyn (George) MacDonald, Sharon (Brian) Hite and James (Amanda) Seibert, proud grandfather of Kristina, Sara, Alexis, Corey, Michael, Marcus, Catherine, Sabrina, Brendan, Elana, Erin, Ben, Nicholas and Aiden and caring brother of Mark (Anita) Rolfes and the late Charles Rolfes. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Passed away on June 9, 2024 at age 86.

Jerry was a graduate of St Xavier High School and Xavier University. Upon graduation he served time in the Army as a lieutenant in the artillery division. He was a certified public accountant for nearly 50 years with a practice in Anderson Township. He was an avid golfer and a long-time member of Terrace Park Country Club. Jerry loved family, friends, handyman projects, old cars, reading and his dogs. The family would like to thank and acknowledge the care Jerry received from the staff at Angel Care Family Home and Queen City Hospice.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 9:00-10:00 AM at St Rose of Lima Church on Riverside Drive followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Inurnment with military honors at Spring Grove Cemetery will follow the mass. If desired, contributions in Jerry's memory may be made to the Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati or the American Heart Association.
