Gertrude Branson

Branson, Gertrude (nee Stapleton), devoted wife of the late Robert Branson for 61 years, mother of Robert (Phyllis) Branson and the late Sue (Tom) Huddle, grandmother of Robert (Misty) and Brett Branson and Pamela Robinson, great-grandmother of Stephanie (Kenny) Neff, Stevie (Ryan) Leinberger, Mandi Robinson, Gabrielle, Gage, and the late Kevin Branson, step great-grandmother of Brandon, Corey (Lynnsey) and Blayke, and great great-grandmother of 4, sister of Leo (Joyce) Stapleton and the late Clarice (Jimmy) Bailey and Virginia (Thurman) Stacy, sister-in-law of Lois (Ken) Branson and the late Donald (Hilda) Branson. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Gertrude exuded strength, love of family, and a smile for everyone. Passed away December 9, 2015 at the age of 94. Formerly of Mt. Washington. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church on Monday, Dec. 14 at 3 pm. Friends may visit at the church on Monday from 2 to 3 pm.
