Gilda J. Nelson (nee Ciafardini), beloved wife for 54 years to the late Robert E. Nelson. Dear mother of JoAnn (Gerry) Patterson, the late Robert C. (Audrey) Nelson, James R. (Lyn) Nelson, Jeffrey M. (Shelly) Nelson, Jennifer (Nelson) Maxstadt and the late Joseph A. Nelson. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many other relatives and friends. She passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 102 years old. Visitation will be held at T. P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Avenue, Mt. Washington on Tuesday July 18, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM with a graveside service at 1:20 PM to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 686 Mt. Moriah Drive, Withamsville, Ohio 45245. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed and payable to: Hospice of Cincinnati at Anderson, 7691 Five Mile Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45230 and/or The Council on Aging, 175 Tri County Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246.
