Glyndon Looff

Looff, Glyndon (nee Bell) wife of the late David Henry Looff MD, beloved mother of John (Carolyn) Looff MD and Mary (Jay) Sallee DVM, dear grandmother of Jennifer (Eric) Handley, Bryan Sallee, Rachel, Megan, and Sarah Looff, also survived by many nieces and nephews. She passed away peacefully at her home on June 18, 2013. Age 85 years. Residence Union Twp. (Cincinnati, OH). Glyndon was born in Baltimore, MD and graduated in 1949 with a teaching degree from Towson College in MD. She lived in Lexington, KY from 1959-1978, where she fulfilled her passions of raising her family and teaching elementary school and she embraced her roles as wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and aunt. Upon arrival of grandchildren, she and her husband relocated to Cincinnati to enjoy their new roles as grandparents. Her faith was an integral part of her life; in Lexington, she was an active member of Hunter Presbyterian Church, and she was most recently a member of Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati. She was also a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and devoted volunteer at City Gospel and Drop-in Center. Service at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church 6474 Beechmont Ave. on Sat. June 22, at 10 AM. Friends may visit at T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Fri. from 5-7 PM.
