Helen Biernat

Helen Biernat (nee Neltner) of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on December 18, 2024 at the age of 78. Born and raised in Northern Kentucky, she was a graduate of Thomas More University and had a long career of serving others as a nurse at Cincinnati Shriners, Cincinnati Children's and Mercy Anderson Hospitals. She loved horses and nature, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. Disney World was one of her favorite places to go with her children and grandchildren and she provided many of these magical opportunities that will be lifelong memories for all.

Helen is survived by her husband Robert, her children Joe (Julie) Biernat, Ben (Julie) Biernat, Kathryn Biernat Jankowski (the late Thomas Jankowski) and Mary Biernat; her grandchildren Alex, Bella, Olivia, Sophie, Evan, Khloe and Claire; her bothers Don (Jan) Neltner, the late Jim Neltner (Lorraine), the late Tommy and sister Joyce (Rob Rogers); as well as many nieces and nephews. Helen is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Helen Neltner.

Services will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home (2050 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45230) on Saturday December 28, 11am with visitation from 10am-11am. A burial will follow at St Stephen Cemetery 1523 Alexandria Pike Fort Thomas, KY 41075, In lieu of flowers, donations to The Cincinnati Nature Center, one of her favorite places, would be appreciated.
