Peebles, Herbert R. 'Rocky', beloved husband of the late Maxine E. Peebles (nee Campbell), devoted father of Mark (Norma) & Brent Peebles, Laura (Matthew) Lilly, and Leslie Peebles, loving grandfather of Cameron (Daneen) Peebles, Regan (Luis)Jackson, Nelson (Jessica) Peebles, Kaitlyn & Rachel Lilly, and Madison, Lauren, & Lyndsey Shumate, caring great-grandfather of Lyric, Storey, and Legend Jackson. Died May 28, 2014. Age 91 years. Residence Anderson Twp. Memorial service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Thursday, June 5 at 8 pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati. Proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
