Herman Bowling Sr.

Herman Bowling Sr., beloved husband of Hattie R. Bowling (nee Riley); devoted father of Herman (Sharon) Bowling Jr., Donna Vannatter, and the late Michael C. (Connie) Bowling Sr.; dear brother of Zola Begley. Also survived by Grandchildren: Stephanie (Pat) Davis, Krysta, Brandon, Benjamin (Stephanie) Vannatter, Tiffany (Donnie Branham), Michael (Jessie Brushman), Rebecca Vannatter; Great Grandchildren: Randall, Hunter, Hannah, Anna, Chase, London, Ashtynn, Grace, Brooks, Jaxson, Clara, Landen and Maddie. Also survived by numerous other family and friends.

Herman has been married to Hattie for 70 years. Moving from Buckhorn, KY to Cincinnati in the 50's. He worked at the Baldwin Piano Company for 17 yrs. He continued on to retire from the City of Cincinnati Water Works, after 25+ years of service. He enjoyed spending time at the lake, boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He served the US Army as a Sergeant in the Korean War. He was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel.

Service will be held at Mt. Washington Baptist Church, 2021 Sutton Ave., Mt. Washington, on Thursday Dec. 15 at 12 Noon. Friends may visit at the Church on Thurs. from 11 AM-12 Noon
