Coomer, beloved husband of Lola Carolyn Coomer (nee Gard), devoted father of Keith Coomer, Karen Lee Coomer, Penny (Nino Gabriele) Combs, Christine (Neil) Coleman, and Roger (Julie) Coomer, dear brother of Helen Canan, also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
