James Geiser

Geiser, James W. age 90 years. A resident of Eastgate Village for 12 years, died peacefully July 8, 2014. Jim was born in Newport, KY. and grew up in Mariemont. He graduated from Mariemont High School and attended the University of Cincinnati and University of Columbus while in the service. He was a member of the Nature Center and loved Jazz, reading and steam engines. He ran the steam train at Kings Island for 2 years after retiring from the Federal Environmental Protection Agency in 1985. Jim is survvived by his wife Leola (Lee) Geiser (nee Ansteatt) of 65 years. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery.
