James E. Gibbons III beloved husband of Rita Ann Gibbons (nee Dugan) devoted father of Tricia (David) Bird, Jim (Lindy), and Greg (Roseanna) Gibbons, dear grandfather of Colleen (Brent), Erin, Molly, Shannon, Seamus, and Sean. Dec. 29, 2017. Age 84 years. Jim graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1955 and was the chairman of the National Senior Alumni Board and an avid boater and world traveler.
