Pickering, James Y., Sr. devoted son of the late Yvo and Clara Monk Pickering, loving father of James (Tonya) Pickering, Jr., caring grandfather of James III, Timothy, and Daniel, dear brother of Betty & Pete Dunn, David Pickering, Helen Gabbard, Donna Sue Parker, and the late Dolly Adams, Jean Hurley, and Donald Pickering. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Died January 27, 2014. Age 72 years. Residence East End. Funeral services will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 11 am. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 to 11 am.
