Jane loved everyone and everyone loved Jane. She was a loving, kind, considerate, and compassionate person who thought of and did for others before herself. It didn’t matter if you were a friend or stranger, she was always kind and so very polite. It was Jane’s way with others.
Jane loved spending time with the ones she loved. First and foremost, she met Stretch, the love of her life, when they were about 5 years old. After the dating years and attending Ohio State, they built a beautiful life and family together. Nothing lit up Jane’s life as being able to spend time with kids. She loved teaching first grade before having her own children and later at St. Timothy Nursery school. This care and love for children was generously heaped upon her kids and her 5 grandchildren. Her kids, Betsy and Mike, her brothers, Bob and John, and her extended family were of utmost importance to Jane. Her many cherished friends from the Ya-Ya’s, her tennis and golf gang and her travel companions meant the world to her. It was so easy to be with and laugh with Jane. She was a great friend to many.
Jane’s 2nd most favorite pastime was watching the Ohio State marching band and cheering on the Buckeyes!! She also loved to sing along with songs about the good old USA!
Jane volunteered her time with the Honor Flight organization and First Tee. Contributions may be made in Janes honor to these organizations. Honor Flight Tri-State, 8627 Calumet Way, Cincinnati, OH 45249
